Car buffs came out Saturday to the Second Annual Westlake Classic Car show at the Solana Club, in Westlake.

The car show, presented by the Westlake Historical Preservation Society, featured 87 registered entries from the Golden Era of the Automobile, 1909-1959.

Among the entries included a horseless buggy, Rolls Royce, Corvettes, Hudsons, Porches and Chevys. All the vehicles were in original or restored-to-near original condition.

Winner of the Best of Show award went to Bill Downs of Dallas, for his rare 1937 Rolls Royce Parkward limousine that is in near-showroom condition.
