The Weatherford College Early Childhood Program will conduct a seminar for area child care providers in the Doss Student Center on the Weatherford College campus Saturday, Nov. 2.

The theme is “Encouraging a Peaceful Community of Learners.” Sessions will focus on meeting the needs of children with challenging diagnoses, working with parents and supporting brain development.

Speakers will include Courtney Boggs Martin; Dena Silvers; Penny Chandler; Samie Williams; Carolyn Boggs and Sandra Hartnitt.

This seminar offers seven clock-hours of training for child care providers. Pre-registration is required. The deadline to register is Friday. The cost for this workshop is $25; this includes lunch. For more information, please call 817-598-6446.
