An unknown shooter opened fire on a Fort Worth party bus early Monday as it left a Dallas after-hours nightclub, leaving one person dead and another injured.

The shooting occurred about 4:13 a.m. after the bus left the Exposure Sports Cabaret, 1818 Storey Lane, and was near the intersection of Harry Hines Boulevard and North Stemmons Freeway.

“At some point, gang signs were flashed between the Fort Worth group and other patrons,” the according Dallas Police Department said in a news release. “When the group’s bus exited the parking lot, an unknown vehicle approached the passenger side of the bus and fired multiple rounds into the bus.”

After the shooting, the bus driver drove to UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Keithrick Raymond Taylor, 28, of Fort Worth was pronounced dead at the scene. Another unidentified person was also shot and was transferred to Parkland Memorial Hospital.

KXAS/Channel 5 reported that the dispute continued at the emergency room, where police used tear gas to disperse the crowd. Channel 5 staffers saw one man arrested at the hospital, but police later said it was for public intoxication. The TV station said bullet holes were visible on the bus.

Police are still looking for the shooter.
