Cowboys defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin: Kiffin’s history against Chip Kelly when both were in the collegiate ranks wasn’t good. Kelly dominated. Not Sunday. Kiffin’s unit shut down the Eagles with no touchdowns, knocked out starter Nick Foles, got three sacks and added three interceptions.

Cowboys defense: Contributions came from all directions. Sean Lee, Barry Church and Brandon Carr had interceptions. Jason Hatcher, George Selvie and Jarius Wynn, who joined the team only six days ago, contributed sacks. Most impressive was the tackling across the board, led by Lee with 11.

Cowboys wide receivers: Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley combined for 20 catches for 234 yards. Bryant led the way with eight catches for 110 yards. Williams had a 9-yard fourth-quarter touchdown. Beasley, who is developing into a clutch receiver, had six catches.

Cowboys punter Chris Jones: Jones had six of his nine punts land inside the 20. His longest kick was 50 yards and he averaged 38.0 in a tricky wind.

Eagles linebacker DeMeco Ryans: Full day’s work from Ryan. He had eight tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss, a quarterback hurry, a pass defensed and an interception return for 36 yards that set up the Eagles’ only score, a field goal.
