A driver was killed Monday evening after losing control of his vehicle on Texas 360 in east Arlington, a police spokeswoman said.

Police responded at 6 p.m. to the single-vehicle wreck on the highway near the intersection with Division Street, spokeswoman Tiara Richard said.

The man was northbound on the service road to Texas 360 when he “lost control of his vehicle for an unknown reason,” Richard said.

“The vehicle rolled down the embankment and into the northbound lanes” of 360, Richard said in a news release. “During the rollover, the driver of the vehicle was ejected and died at the scene. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.”

Northbound lanes were closed until 8:50 p.m. while police investigated the wreck.

“Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash,” she said.

The man’s name had not been released by late Monday.
