Pumpkin Patch opens at FUMC

The pumpkins have arrived at First Methodist Mansfield! Pumpkins will be for sale through the end of October, or until they are sold out. The Pumpkin Patch will be manned from 3-7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends.

Story time at the patch is available by appointment. Contact Lindsey Brower at First Methodist Mansfield is located at 777 N. Walnut Creek Drive.

Church hosts Upward basketball and cheerleading

First Methodist Mansfield is offering Upward Basketball and Cheerleading for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Every child plays, every child learns and every child is a winner!

Early registration is $78 per child and includes a uniform, awards and equipment. After Nov. 8 the cost goes up to $88. Deadline to sign up is Nov. 12. Practices start the week of Dec. 10, with games beginning in January.

Bible church hosts Halloween festival

Looking for a fun, safe, family friendly activity for your children on Halloween? Come to Mansfield Bible Church from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31 for Trunk or Treats. There will be lots of fun, candy, games, a costume contest and more.

Trinity Presbyterian plans Fall Festival

Trinity Presbyterian Church will be having its annual fall festival from 3-6 p.m. Oct. 12 at 1200 Clover Hill. This year there will be a garage sale for Christmas ornaments/decorations, live music, bounce houses, hay ride, pumpkin painting, raffle and more. Food and drinks will be free. A suggested donation is a can of food for the East Broad Outreach Center.

St. Jude plans monthly Bingo

St. Jude Catholic Church will now offer Bingo every month instead of every other month. Bingo packets are $25 to play 14 games. Cover all guarantee payout is $300.

The hall opens at 6 p.m. with first call at 6:30 p.m. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Upcoming dates for Bingo are Oct. 12, Nov. 9 and Dec. 14 at the St. Jude Parish Hall on the corner of Graves and Dallas streets.
