A fight at a Parker County home last week ended with a man fatally shot and his wife in jail, Sheriff Larry Fowler said.Katherine Kuehner, 53, was released Sept. 24 on $100,000 bond. Her 51-year-old husband, Curtis Kuehner, was found dead the afternoon of Sept. 22 in the couple’s home in the 3000 block of Dusk Drive. The street is off Farm Road 920 northwest of Weatherford. Deputies found his body in a living room near the back of the home.A .22-caliber pistol and a .357 Magnum revolver were found, authorities said. Investigators believe that the revolver was the weapon used. The Kuehners had a history of domestic strife dating at least to 2010, according to reports on file at the Parker County Sheriff’s Department. But the couple had declined to cooperate with deputies and refused to press charges.“The investigation is still in the early stage,” Fowler said Tuesday in a news release. “Our investigators are continuing to gather facts and details in this case.”He said the couple had been fighting Monday. Asked about a possible motive, Fowler said, “I think there has been some dissension in that family for quite some time, according to some sources.”Fowler said it appeared that one shot was fired, he said.In her jail booking photo, Katherine Kuehner appears to have bruises around her left eye.She declined to talk to deputies and requested a lawyer, Fowler said.
