On Thursday, Sept. 11, officers from the Parker County Retired Teachers visited the local office of Rep. Phil King, R-Weatherford, to present a thank you scroll for his support of SB 1458, which will allow Texas retired teachers to receive a raise. Parker County retirees signed a second scroll which was sent to Sen. Craig Estes for his support.
