In the fan vote for top performances from Sept. 19-21, Lake Worth linebacker Luis Gutierrez had the most online support, with 2,307 votes. Jeru Starks of Sagnaw Chisholm Trail was second with 1,484 votes. More than 4,500 votes were cast. Visit the site Monday to see who’s in the running for the Sept. 26-28 games.

Lake Worth LB Luis Gutierrez recorded three sacks, four tackles for loss, and fumble recovery in the Bullfrogs’ 48-21 win over Hillsboro.

Mansfield DB J.T. Ibe recorded an interception, recovered a fumble, made seven solo tackles and three assists in the Tigers 14-7 defeat of South Grand Prairie.

Saginaw Chisholm Trail RB Jeru Starks rushed for 201 yards, with touchdown runs of 4 and 2 yards, ln a 49-0 rout of Fort Worth Carter-Riverside.

Fort Worth Dunbar QB LaQuarrian Peoples passed for 316 yards and 5 scores, including a 30-yard game-winner to DaVonta Kinney with 4 seconds left, as the Wildcats clipped Birdville, 49-44.

Fort Worth Dunbar WR Stepfawn Hughes caught four passes for 197 yards, including touchdown catches of 47, 62 and 51 yards. He also had an 18-yard touchdown run.
