Fort Worth Paschal only scored in the first half Friday night against Dallas Sunset, but that was more than enough for the Panthers, as they beat the Bison 52-0 in a nondistrict game at Farrington Field.
Dylan Thomas completed 7 of 8 passes for 77 yards and a touchdown, and Thomas, Justin Woodard and Shang Bou added scores on the ground to lead Paschal.
The Panthers (3-0) were up on 0-3 Sunset 28-0 after the first quarter before getting out to a 52-0 halftime lead.
Backup quarterback Gibson Duwe threw two touchdown passes, a 22-yard strike to Marcus Padron and a 40-yarder to Josh Widger. William Floyd, another Paschal quarterback, scored on a 3-yard touchdown run.
Woodard got the scoring started for Paschal on an 11-yard touchdown run with 9:27 left in the first quarter. He finished with 41 yards on six carries. Thomas followed on the Panthers’ next possession with a 13-yard run for a score. Then it was Bou, who ran it in from 12 yards on the Paschal’s next series.
Bou led Paschal with 64 yards rushing on five carries.
Thomas hit Padron for a 7-yard touchdown in the second quarter for his fifth passing touchdown of the season.
