Correct Model A history

In regard to the comment about fisherman Moses Lopez’s Model A that he had in 1939 (See: “Fish tale,” Friday, Sept. 6), the author’s statement that the last one was made in 1932 is not correct.

The Model A was a product of the model years 1928 through 1931; the 1932 was not a Model A. That was the year Ford introduced their Flathead V-8, and their full pressure, lubricated four-cylinder engine: the Model B.
