The Friends of the Weatherford Public Library “Fall Book Sale” will be on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27-28, in the Library Auditorium during regular business hours from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

There will be “lots of books” at the sale, including children’s books, novels, cookbooks, travel books, religious books, poetry and almost everything in between, plus DVDs and music CDs. There is always some large print books on sale as well. Paperbacks and videos will sell for 50 cents, hardbacks, DVDs and CDs are $1. Sometimes, there are even collections, signed or collectable books that may sell for a little more.

All the materials sold at the Friends’ Book Sales are donated by the public so patrons are invited to come and take bags of them home for very little money. The Friends of the Library appreciate so many donors for cleaning out their bookshelves at home and bringing them to the library throughout the year.

Jean Morris donated 300 cookbooks for the Fall Book Sale. “Come and go through her wonderful collection.”
