I enjoyed reading “JFK 50 years later: ‘There's still a healing going on,’” (Wednesday).

There is healing going on. But it needs to be demonstrated more.

This year may mark 50 years since President Kennedy’s death. But I feel the greatest tribute Fort Worth can do to provide healing to itself and the nation is to exemplify the ideals and platform of the youthful president.

He was shot down, but his ideas weren’t.

That’s my hope for true healing.
