A little while back you wrote an article about the restaurants in this area that served gluten-free meals (See: “Eats Beat: Pizza, pub grub — and it’s all gluten-free,” Tuesday, Aug. 6).

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

My son was diagnosed with celiac disease about 7 years ago.

I had no idea how I was going to be able to feed him without wheat products. But thanks to many in the food industry, the amount of GF foods available has been nothing short of miraculous.

Thanks to those manufacturers, store owners, chefs and jourrnalists, you all have made possible what I thought was impossible.
