Waco runs away from North Crowley

Utilizing a hurry-up offense, Waco Midway jumped out early and went on to defeat North Crowley 41-8 in a nondistrict contest Thursday at Panther Stadium.

Midway (2-1) scored on its first two possession to take a 14-0 lead.

The first touchdown came on a 42-yard screen pass from Ben Hicks to Xavier Hailey on third-and-19.

The second touchdown drive was about the same distance, 54 yards in five plays. The score came on a 4-yard pass from Hicks to Jayson Clements. The score was set up by a 36-yard pass play from Hicks to Hailey to the 2.

North Crowley falls to 0-3.
