DALLAS — Terrance Ivery ran for 204 yards and threw for 192 and the Mansfield Legacy Broncos stayed undefeated, shutting out Dallas Bryan Adams 31-0 at Pleasant Grove Stadium Friday night. Ivery threw for two scores and ran for another.
Kenton Mayberry had 189 rushing and scored the other touchdown for Legacy, (3-0).
The Broncos had 324 yards from scrimmage in the first half, building a 24-0 lead, 242 of it on the ground. Iverys 46-yard run set up the first Bronco touchdown, that he scored on an 11-yard keep with 3:31 left in the first quarter.
After Daniel Moore nailed a 45-yard field goal in the early second quarter, Mayberry scored his td midway through the second period, culminating a 69-yeard drive. Josh Conrads 28-yard catch and run set it up.
Then Conrad hauled in a 28-yard scoring pass from Ivery with 4:22 left in the half, to put the Broncos up 24.
Chris Smith and Xavier Coffey led Legacy defense that held Bryan Adams (1-2) to 152 yards total offense. BA only cross midfield once, on consecutive personal foul penalties and never got further than the Bronco 33-yard-line.
Josh Conrad had a big night for Legacy, including touchdown catches of 28 and 38 yards, and four total receptions for 107.
