The Paschal Panther Band squared off against Arlington Heights’ Yellow Jackets in a battle of the bands Saturday.

The bands met at 11:30 a.m. at the Trinity Commons Shopping Center, at the corner of Hulen Street and Bellaire Drive. They had each marched to the location in separate march-a-thon events that culminated in the “play off.”

Once the bands met, there was a pep rally and the battle of the bands — events designed to build excitement about the Heights vs. Paschal football game to be held Saturday night.

It was Paschal’s 5th annual March-A-Thon and Arlington Heights’ first. The march-a-thons are fundraisers for the bands.
