Authorities have released the names of two men who drowned over the weekend in separate incidents at Lake Lewisville.

Milan Shah, 37, of Frisco was identified Tuesday by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

Game Warden Chip Daigle had reported that Shah’s body was found Monday floating in the middle of the lake. The medical examiner plotted the location at 200 yards north of Hidden Cover Marina near Little Elm.

On Sunday morning, Daigle said, Shah was pulling his two sons on an inner tube behind a boat when one child fell off. He jumped in to rescue the child. The son, who was wearing a life vest, was uninjured.

But the father, who was not wearing a life vest, sank, Daigle said.

Also Monday, Army Corps of Engineers lake rangers found the body of a man who fell off a party boat Friday. He was identified as George Rodriquez, 33, of Mesquite, said Denton County sheriff’s Sgt. Larry Kish.

Rodriguez’s body was found on the shore, Daigle said.
