Ryker is a 3-month old male husky mix rescued from the shelter when only a few weeks old. He’s been raised in a loving foster home. He enjoys playing outside with his puppy mates, playing tug-of-war or just chewing on a stick. He is good with other dogs but don't know about cats. He is paper-trained and crate-trained. Ryker has lots of puppy energy so would need a fenced yard to play in and would probably be best in a house without small children. He is current on all shots, neutered, microchipped and is on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is only $95 and allows us to help more animals. To meet Ryker, please contact Debbie at aspenak@juno.com or 817-253-0256.

Rescued cats are available for adoption at the Weatherford PetSmart seven days a week. The adoption fee for cats is only $40, kittens under six months of age are $60. All are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on monthly flea prevention.

Parker Paws is able to provide vet care for the hundreds of dogs and cats rescued each year thanks to generous donors and fundraising. An easy way for you to help is to visit the bi-annual garage sale. The next one is Friday and Saturday at 506 E. First Street in Weatherford. If you'd like to donate items for the sale, you may drop them off there any time.
