A 33-year-old man was one of two people killed in a fiery crash early Sunday on Interstate 30, the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office reported.

Roland Holloway was pronounced dead at 6:15 a.m. at the scene in the 1900 block of the interstate. His town of residence was not reported.

The second person in the car had not been identified by late Monday afternoon.

Police said the crash was reported about 5:40 a.m. after the vehicle hit a barrier separating westbound lanes from the HOV lane and burst into flames. It was still burning when emergency crews arrived.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
