ARLINGTON — A man and woman were shot and later died in what appears to be a domestic dispute in southwest Arlington early Monday, police said.Two others - the woman’s teenage son and her adult daughter - were in the home in the 6800 block of Biondi Trail at the time, Arlington police spokeswoman Tiara Richard said in a news release. They were believed to have been sleeping.Police got a report of a shooting in progress at the residence about 5:15 a.m. Monday, Richard said in the release. They arrived to find the woman and man, who reportedly had been in a relationship for a number of years, both shot.They were taken by ambulance to Methodist Medical Center, where the woman was pronounced dead. The man was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where he later died, Richard said.Detectives are investigating what led to the shooting, the news release said.Officials declined to release the identities of the shooting victims. They’re expected to come from the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office when official identification has been made and next of kin notified, Richard said.
