Fort Worth Southwest took advantage of several Cleburne missed opportunities and a struggling Yellow Jackets secondary to record a 48-26 win at Yellow Jacket Stadium on Friday night.

Cleburne had two early touchdowns called back on holding penalties, and Jackets receivers had several dropped passes that may have gone for scores.

Southwest sophomore quarterback Devin Williams passed for 468 yards, including 326 in the first half, and threw for four touchdowns.

After the two teams exchanged punts in a slow first quarter, Williams found DaMarcus Wilson for a 41-yard touchdown pass, and the Raiders led 7-0.

Cleburne had an opportunity to make things interesting in the third quarter as sophomore quarterback Brian Baca made it 28-12 on a 5-yard run. The Raiders fumbled the ensuing kickoff, and the Jackets had a chance to get back in the game with a short field, but on the following play, Baca’s pass was tipped in the air and intercepted by Southwest.
