Arts Council Northeast, in partnership with Texas Commission on the Arts, is offering grants for arts-related programs to schools, independent school districts, non-profit organizations, cities and individuals located in the 16 cities the arts council serves including Colleyville, Grapevine and Southlake.

The submission deadline is Dec. 2.

Grants will be awarded in the first quarter of next year.

Past project that have received funding include Grapevine’s Runway Theatre, Grapevine High School, Southlake Women’s Club and Colleyville’s Blue Shoe Project.

The Arts Council offers financial support for arts-related programs in North Tarrant and southern Denton Counties.

Since 1997, the organization, in partnership with the Texas Commission on the Arts, has provided more than $1.4 million to support the arts in local communities.

Raising money for the arts is an ongoing commitment that Arts Council Northeast provides through matching grants from the Texas Commission on the Arts and fundraising events throughout the year.
