CEDAR HILL — At Fridays controlled scrimmage, the Arlington Bowie and Cedar Hill first-team offenses tied 6-6 in the opening 15-play series each team executed.In the two 12-minute quarters with a running clock that concluded the scrimmage, Bowie quarterback Keaton Perry connected with Tony James for a 30-yard touchdown and 6-3 win.We felt good, but we struggled early on trying to make plays, Perry said. Tony being a little banged up is kind of killing us because we dont have a deep threat. We get him healthy and everybody else going good, well be all right."Perry took 25 snaps in the first portion of the scrimmage, and he completed 6 of 10 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Bowie safeties Edwin Freeman and Nico Small delivered several jarring tackles.During the two 12-minute quarters, Cedar Hill left-handed quarterback Justin MacMillan completed seven of nine passes for 56 yards.
