Edinburg won the United League Baseball championship when Jordan Etier hit a three-run home run in the top of the 10th inning, leading the Roadrunners to a 10-6 victory over the Cats on Monday night at LaGrave Field.

Fort Worth had a 6-4 lead going into the ninth inning, but two singles and an error by shortstop Logan Brumley sent the game to extra innings.

The Cats jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first inning on back-to-back walks to Cameron Monger and David Bergin, a run-scoring single by Chris Ellison and a two-run single by Greg Bachman.

Edinburg scored single runs in the first and second innings, then the Cats scored in the fourth on an error, a single by Brumley, a walk and a hit batter.
