Edinburg rolls past Fort Worth Cats to force deciding game

Edinburg scored two runs in the sixth inning and added three in the eighth on the way to an 8-3 victory over the Fort Worth Cats in Game 4 of the United League Baseball championship series at LaGrave Field on Sunday night.

With the series tied 2-2, the championship game will be played at 7:05 Monday night at LaGrave Field.

Michael Hayes had a two-run double in the sixth and Derrick Pyles a two-run double in the eighth for Edinburg.

The Cats had 10 hits, but could push across only three runs.

Logan Brumley had a two-run single in the ninth, but the Cats could get no closer.

Fort Worth scored in the first on two hits and two walks.
