motorcyclist killed early Friday when his vehicle smashed into a retaining wall has been identified as Abraham Bonilla of Fort Worth, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office website.

Bonilla, 30, died at the scene, authorities said.

Investigators believe Bonilla had been riding his motorcycle at high speed north in the 4300 block of Clarke Drive, near the northeast shores of Lake Worth, when he missed a curve and went off the left side of the road, striking a brick retaining wall.

The impact threw the man’s body over the retaining wall and into the front yard of a residence, police said.

There were no signs of braking or skidding before the wreck, police said.

The discovery of the body was reported to police about 7:30 a.m. Friday.
