Meet Maxwell, a playful young bassett hound mix. He is a 5-month old with big feet, lots of heart and tons of personality. He was rescued when only a few weeks old and has enjoyed his foster family with several other dogs. Now he's ready for his own family.

Max is house trained, crate trained and is a very confident and happy young boy. He is good with children and other dogs and would be a great addition to any home with children willing to make him part of their family. As with all Parker Paws dogs, Mr. Max is up to date on all shots and is neutered and has a microchip. He's been de-wormed and is on monthly heartworm prevention and flea prevention. For more information on Max contact Parker Paws at barb@parkerpaws.org or 817-694-5718.

The previous Pet of the Week, the kitten named Prius, has been adopted. Many other friendly kitties are available for adoption at the Weatherford PetSmart adoption center. When you adopt from there, it allows Parker Paws to rescue another cat. Adoptable dogs are shown off each Saturday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Weatherford PetSmart, just inside the doors (in the air conditioning). This Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, Parker Paws will also be at the Weatherford Tractor Supply, 1817 S. Main Street, with adoptable dogs.

Visit www.ParkerPaws.org or call 817-694-5718 for questions or information. By mail, reach Parker Paws at P.O. Box 781, Weatherford, Texas, 76086.
