Driver killed in Fort Worth crash identified

A motorist who was killed early Sunday when his vehicle flipped over a bridge on Northeast Loop 820 has been identified as Nathan Daniels of Benbrook, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office website on Monday.

Daniels, 34, died at the scene, authorities said.

The wreck occurred about 3 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of the westbound lanes of Northeast Loop 820.

Witnesses told police that the motorist was speeding on the highway when the vehicle veered off the road, hit a guardrail and flipped over a bridge to a street below, police said

No other injuries were reported.
