A partnership of real estate developers Derek Ferem and Steve Gregory in Dallas has bought the nearly 2-acre site of the former Luby’s restaurant at Airport Freeway and Forest Ridge Road in Bedford.The land has an 11,888-square-foot restaurant building. The site was sold by Luby’s Fuddruckers Restaurants in Houston, deed records say. The location also once had a restaurant called the Fire Pit. Ferem said they are looking for another restaurant user but could also lease the building for retail or medical use. It could be divided for multiple users, he said.
