hCheers: to Councilman Jungus Jordanfor questioning the use of public funds for public art. Don’t get me wrong, Fort Worth has a lot of art I like. But really, who likes that stuff on Lancaster Avenue downtown? I realize beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

— Anita Cox, Fort Worth

iJeers: To the Tarrant County District Attorney’s office for the recent prosecution of the Apala and Woodard case. The couple burned three puppies to death after beating them with a stick because they wouldn’t eat . They only got probation. Animal cruelty is a felony. This is outrageous!

— Gayle Hirsch, Grapevine

hCheers: To the infusion staff at Baylor All Saints Hospital for their care during my recent treatment. I had never had infusion treatments so I was very nervous and did not know what to expect. You took the time to explain everything and made me always feel comfortable. Thank You.

— Geoffrey Hetherington, Aledo
