On July 29-Aug. 1, Performance Volleyball hosted their Setters and Hitters Camp, along with Team Camp at the Weatherford Ninth Grade Center .

The Setters and Hitters Camp was held on July 29 for upcoming 5th through 12th graders. Team Camp went from July 30-Aug. 1 for high school players only. For the coaches, Team Camp is used to evaluate players’ skill levels. The camp shows players the things they need to improve on to get to the next level.

Running the camp was Coach Eric Morris of Performance Volleyball and Weatherford Lady Roos Coach Natalie Gonzales.

“The main purpose of the camp is making the girls do as many hand drills as they can,” said Gonzales. “We want the players to be better passers and hitters with their hands. As the week progressed, I have been pleased with the growth of the players at camp.”
