Arlington police need help in identifying a man who robbed a cash checking business on July 15.

Police say the suspect waited in line at the MoneyCenter in the 4800 block of S. Cooper Street before showing a gun to a female employee and ordering her to give him cash from the register.

The clerk complied and the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money, possibly in a silver four-door passenger car, the release states.

The robber is described as in his 30s or 40s, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 inches tall and about 160 pounds.

Anyone who recognizes the robber is asked to call Arlington police Sgt. Donald Fulbright at 817-459-5628 or Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS (8477). Tipsters may remain anonymous and are eligible for up to $1,000 in reward money.
