A man discovered shot to death in a parking lot late Monday has been identified as Luis Ramirez of Fort Worth, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website on Wednesday.

Ramirez, 33, died from a gunshot wound to his chest and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.

No arrests have been made in the case.

Police got a call about a robbery in the 1100 block of East Seminary Drive just before midnight Monday. They found Ramirez in the parking lot of an east-side shopping center with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he died shortly afterward.
