An equipment failure knocked out power for about 3,100 electric customers in Keller and far north Fort Worth for a couple of hours Tuesday evening, Oncor spokeswoman Anna Kurian said

Power was restored about 8:30 p.m., Kurian said.

The Keller Public Library closed early because of the outage, and traffic lights went dark at at least three major intersections — Johnson Road at Bourland Road, North Main Street at Johnson Road and North Main Street at Keller Hicks Road. The city of Keller asked drivers to find alternate routes or prepare for delays.
