A motorcyclist killed Sunday night in a North Richland Hills wreck has been identified as Michael Proctor of Grapevine, officials said Tuesday.

Proctor, 57, died at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth Sunday evening shortly after the wreck, in which his motorcycle hit a truck on Airport Freeway in North Richland Hills, police said.

The wreck occurred shortly before 7 p.m. in the 8600 block of Airport Freeway.

Proctor was on a 2005 Harley Davidson traveling east on the highway when it hit a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado which also was eastbound on Airport Freeway, police said.

The driver of the truck stopped after the wreck, police said.

“We still haven’t determined what caused the motorcycle to hit the truck,” North Richland Hills investigator Keith Bauman said Tuesday.

Anyone who may have witnessed the wreck should call North Richland Hills police at 817-427-7000.
