Motorcyclist killed in NRH crash

A motorcyclist was killed Sunday evening when his vehicle hit a truck on Airport Freeway, police said.

On impact, the 57-year-old motorcyclist who has not been identified fell onto the highway, police said.

The driver was taken to a local hospital where he died shortly after the wreck.

The crash occurred shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday in the 8600 block of Airport Freeway.

The victim was on a 2005 Harley Davidson traveling east on the highway when it hit a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado which also was eastbound on Airport Freeway, police said.

The driver of the truck stopped after the wreck, police said.
