I for one am sad that a young man (not a little boy) was tragically killed and another life forever scarred.

Media sites are full of people expressing wouldas, shouldas, who’s racist and what-ifs.

To me, two bull-headed people met in the dark, and it led to tragedy. To me, people are missing the one thing that would have allowed the both of them the opportunity to sleep in their own beds that night.

It is the unwritten law of civility. We no longer teach it.

Civility has been replaced by attitudes. We scream for laws and demand rights for everything rather than governing ourselves, our behaviors.
