Hateful stupidity

The Zimmerman trial was a miscarriage of justice.

Some reports blame the prosecutors for not mounting a strong case. At any rate, there will be years of work and millions of tax dollars spent correcting what happened.

How could an unarmed boy walking lawfully in a neighborhood be overpowered by an armed man who knew full well what might happen? Zimmerman was hunting for a fight. His minor injuries were simply what he needed to mount a self-defense excuse.

Even giving him the benefit of the doubt, that he may have not intended for his shot to be fatal, it was at the very least hateful stupidity. It amounts to a license to kill.

I hope Zimmerman has a conscience and that it tortures him for the rest of his life.
