Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men responsible for separate robberies at two Haltom City stores.

Police say the first man — identified as white, in his mid-30s, and around 5-foot-3-inches tall — robbed the Radio Shack at 3901 Belknap Street about 3:20 p.m. on July 6.

The man handed a robbery note to one of the store’s two employees. Both employees told police they saw a revolver tucked in the robber’s pants.

The robber, who fled with an undisclosed amount of money, wore a blue cap, black sunglasses, and a fake mustache that was falling off during the robbery. He also wore a black T-shirt with silver lettering and tan pants, police said.

The second robbery occurred about 7:17 p.m. July 11 at the Dollar General at 3125 Denton Highway.

Police say that robber — a bald, white male believed to be about 40 to 50 years of age and 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9 inches tall — entered the store and removed a silver object resembling a pistol from his waistband. He demanded cash from the register and fled with an undisclosed amount.

That robber was wearing glasses, blue shorts, black shoes and a black T-shirt stating “This is my shirt” on the front.

Anyone with information about either robber is asked to call Haltom City police at 817-222-7000.
