Keller boy pitches perfect game

Keller resident Harrison Ragsdale, a pitcher for the Yard Dawgs 10U baseball team through the North Texas Baseball Club, threw a perfect game in the 10UAA World Series Warm-Up Baseball Tournament in Irving on June 30.

Harrison needed just 31 pitches to get through a 22-0 victory, striking out five and fielding a pop-up and a grounder as well.

The Yard Dawgs were runners-up in the tournament. Coach Corey Martin said that in a decade of coaching baseball he had never seen a perfect game.

Harrison will enter sixth grade at Bear Creek Intermediate School in the fall.
