Muddy motives

In an article in the Star-Telegram (See: “Let’s be honest about having fewer abortions,” July 9), Lon Burnam, “representative” of District 90 in the Texas House of Representatives, gives his profound opinion on a solution to unwanted pregancies. Politicians being what they are, and having observed Burnam for quite some time, I can only assume that he has a friend in the condom business since this is a part of his solution.

And he takes a snide shot at the opposing political party by saying, “pandering to the six percent of Texas voters who vote in Republican primary elections.” I don't know how that fits in with the rest of his rambling, but I suppose he does.
