Our Garden of Angels is hosting a Christmas in July event this Saturday to collect toys for needy children.

The event, which is open to the public and will include music, snacks and a silent auction, begins at 5 p.m. at the garden located at the corner of Mosier Valley Road and Trinity Boulevard in Euless.

Attendees are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy. Toys collected at the annual event will then be distributed to needy children by members of Bikers Against Child Abuse.

The garden was started in 1999, near where the body of 19-year-old Amy Robinson of Arlington was found a year earlier. Today, it has more than 120 crosses in memory of murder victims.

For more information about the event, call Larry Maifeld at 972-263-1201.
