Police and FBI agents on Wednesday were searching for the robber who held up a Trophy Club credit union, authorities said.

Officers were called about 2:45 p.m. to the Denton Area Teachers Credit Union inside the Tom Thumb grocery store at 101 Trophy Club Drive.

Witnesses said a man with a salt-and-pepper mustache wearing a white ball cap and sunglasses passed a note to a teller demanding money.

“No weapon was displayed, and the suspect gave no indication he had a weapon,” said Commander Lee Delk, a police spokesman.

The man fled with about $4,000, Delk said.

He wore a light-blue denim long-sleeve shirt and light-blue pants. He appeared to be in his late 40s or early 50s, weighs 160 to 180 pounds and is about 5 feet 9.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sgt. Tony Simmons at 682-831-4650. After 5 p.m., call 972-434-550.
