DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks agreed on a two-year, $5 million contract Tuesday with shooting guard Wayne Ellington.The agreement, first reported by Yahoo! Sports, helps the Mavs make up for the loss of free agent shooting guard O.J. Mayo, who agreed to a three-year, $24 million contract with the Milwaukee Bucks last week.Chosen with the No. 28 overall pick by Minnesotoa in the 2009 NBA Draft, Ellington split time last season between the Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers. In 40 games for the Grizzlies, he averaged 5.5 points and 1.3 rebounds, and in 38 games for the Cavs he averaged 10.4 points and three rebounds.
