Jae Crowder, Bernard James and rookies Shane Larkin and Ricky Ledo headline a list of 13 players who are on the Dallas Mavericks’ summer league roster that was released Monday.

The Mavs will compete in the Las Vegas Summer League, which starts Friday and runs through July 22. Each of the 22 teams is guaranteed to play at least five games, with the Mavs’ first game slated for 5 p.m. Saturday at the Cox Pavilion.

As a rookie last year for the Mavs, Crowder started 16 of the 78 games he played and averaged 5.0 points and 2.4 rebounds while shooting 38.4 percent from the field. Also as a rookie last season, James played 46 games and averaged 2.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and shot 51.5 percent.

Meanwhile, Larkin and Ledo are both expected to compete for playing time at point guard this season.

Monte Mathis will coach the team and will be assisted by Kaleb Canales, Darrell Armstrong, Mike Shedd and Mike Weinar.
