There’s absolutely no reason for another special session in Austin unless it’s for the sole purpose of ridding Texas of the entire body of legislators, who have become pretty much useless to anybody.

I guess Gov. Perry finds them helpful in his quest to mold state laws to his satisfaction.

While they’re busy abolishing themselves, they might include Perry, Attorney General Greg Abbott and his other followers.

And if they could devise a program that teaches Texas voters how to use common sense when making their selections in the voting booth, that would be the icing on the cake, ensuring Texas survival from the idiocy prevailing in the Capitol.
