I’m devastated by what the last ownership group has done to our Brahmas.

The ownership group led by Stuart Fraser kept our Brahmas alive year after year. But this last group has alienated the fans, failed to pay bills and tarnished the good name of the Brahmas. We’ve been uninformed all year about what’s going on. The leadership was never around and you couldn’t get a straight answer. Staff and players weren’t paid after the season and players were getting evicted from apartments.

The previous ownership team worked very hard to keep the franchise going for the past 15 years. Mike Barack would give you a straight answer, the team was active in the community, the staff and players were taken care of and bills were paid. They made you proud to be a Brahmas fan.

We’re confident the Brahmas will find a new home in Tarrant County. Now that we’re back with a true ownership team, let’s bring back our Brahmas and watch them challenge for another cup.

So disappointed

It saddens me to see the changes that have occurred in the U.S. since World War II. We’ve sent troops to fight in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan without declarations of war.

We have a huge federal debt, but Congress refuses to make U.S. corporations pay their fair share of income taxes.

Voters say they want change but continue to re-elect incumbents. What do they expect?

The Supreme Court ruled that corporations are individuals and can make unlimited contributions to politicians. If so, why aren’t they subject to the same rules as the rest of us?

I am so disappointed.
