Man shot in face during road rage in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH A man was in critical condition Sunday after he was shot in the face during a road rage incident in northeast Fort Worth, police said.

No one has been arrested.

The shooting occurred just before 12:15 a.m. Sunday.

The suspect pulled up beside the victim in the 5300 block of Superior Parkway and shot him in the face with a shotgun, using buck shot, police said.

MedStar paramedics treated the victim at the scene, and then transported him to a local hospital, where he was in critical condition, said police Capt. Charles Ramirez.

The suspect was driving a dark colored sports utility vehicle, Ramirez said.

Police did not release any other details.
