Democrats and minorities

I applaud the Supreme Court’s decision on the Voting Rights Act. I don’t understand all the fuss the Democrats are making regarding the requirement of a photo ID to vote in Texas and other states.

My guess is that they’d rather keep minorities depending on their pity than help them become a productive, important part of society. I think that’s the only way they can secure votes from this particular group.

If the Democrats really cared about minorities, they should use their resources to create the conditions for them to get IDs instead of demanding that the government provide for every little thing minorities are lacking.

It’s hard to believe but minorities are smarter than they get credit for. We really are. Just give us a chance to prove it by not making it too easy for us.
